For all atheists out there, why should anyone be good? What makes you not do things that are considered bad but are in your favour. e.g stealing or lying for your benefits *Btw, I am an atheist.

As human beings, we are social animals. Our sociality is the result of evolution, not choice. Natural selection has equipped us with nervous systems which are peculiarly sensitive to the emotional status of our fellows.Β So we don't naturally do evil things because we are evolved to be like that not because there is a God that tells us so.
