*Is that common to have one sided swollen abdomen after surgery? *Is it temporary? *if swollen abdomen is common when it's expected to happen?

I don't know but you said surgery so just please see the doctor. If you are uncomfortable/don't trust the doc (ig 'cause you asked here instead of going to the hospital) then see another one, even if it's common they must tell you what you'd expect and what would happen, and there must be a check up after any surgery. So go!
