Hey there so the Tele workers came and set up the Wi-Fi... then they said they will come back to configure it. is there anyway I can do it myself?
May 31, 2020Pls can you tell me how long u waited for them to install it?? after buying the modem/router
Jun 02, 2020You would mainly need 3 pieces of information. Your Local WAN IP address. The Remote IP address for your WAN (the Gateway). The Subnet mask. The Local WAN IP address is probably not assigned to you yet. So even if your are a knowledgeable tech person. I suggest you wait for them to do it themselves. But do get these details from them. You might need it in the future in case you reset the router or buy a new one. P.S. the VPI/VCI is 8/81 And use IPoE or MER or something similar for the Channel Mode(Protocol) depending on your Modem. If all this seems giberrish to you then don't touch anything and let them handle it. 😉
