Please help me My external hard disk is not working.i mean it lights on but is not listed on file explorer and on disk management. Tho listed on device manager. Ena i have tried everything on google. Anything u think will help please answer back thanks😊
May 19, 2020when u plug it in, does it have a sound??? or some vibration when u place your palm ? cuz if it dose then ur good, it will show up on ur screen. but if not i think its broken. but the files will be there,, just take it to professional ppl to get your files out. hope it helps.

May 19, 2020My WD hard disk had the same problem, if the cable is fine and it shows the light or make a sound when connecting the problem is the WD SES USB Driver, download that specific driver or go on device manager and troubleshoot your harddisk... Which will download the driver...

May 19, 2020I had the same problem if u're using the original 3.0 cable, try using a different port only one works sometimes ena for every port wait till it shows the icon on the taskbar, if that doesn't work try using a normal USB cable
May 19, 2020Mine had the same problem it lights up gn it wont show on the pc... they said something was wrong with the cover and cable... i got that changed then it worked fine and all my files are restored... so u try to change the cable if that doesnt work u gotta take it to a professional and get it checked
