Azathioprine is an antimetabolite, immunosuppressant drug used for multiple disease entities such as rheumatoid arthritis ,Cushing's disease ,AGN...and many others Some of its common side effects are (although most of them are seen with doses higher than the prescribed ones) include; 1)Anemia (dem manes like dkam, ye ayn bzhta, ye lb mt mechemer, joro lay chuhet or ye dewel dmts mesmat) 2)Nausea and vomiting(makleshlesh and masmeles 3)Fever(tkusat) 4)Hepatic dysfunction manifested as yellowish discoloration of skin and mucus membranes (Aka jaundice weym bicha ayn ena bicha skin kayesh) 5)skin rashes or shfta 6)hematuria (qey urine) 7) ye sewnet medkem or fatigue 8)epigastric pain( yelaygnaw hodsh kfl lay ye hmem smet ketesemash) 9) ye tsegur menekakel But all of these doesn't mean that all of them will occur and commonly they happen with excess doses or amount.
