i think the main reason is the internet access, even if someone needs the access the infrastructure doesn't satisfy the demand (tnx to ethio tele) the outcome of full domination of the ISP business! And the other one is the awareness among the society abt electronic money transfer(u can check ppls around u abt it and hear their response) they didn't belief the system and i didn't blame them because i also personally didn't rely on it because system failure, access speed, security... mnamn, and u can see the service provided by CBE nowadays it couldn't handle the load which in effect of COVID thing , it didn't help us at the time of emergency!! we have this much to do 😣 tnx for bringing this up! ...
