War isn't soilders. You can detest war and still have some empathy for the soilders. And the reason you're against war is because it creates suffering, right? If so, this position indicates what you detest is suffering, therefore to help those in experiencing suffering wouldn't be wrong. You're helping an individual, not fueling the war.
