What is the relationship between the ethiopian flag nd the ethiopian orthodox church why does the chruch rep ethiopia so hard more than any other religion in ethiopia?? did the government adapted the green yellow red from the chruch or is it the vice versa.....i heard Ethiopians start using the green yellow red flag after st.yared of aksum or after the rainbow ??how come this is true??
Apr 19, 2020The relation is all the three colors are in rainbow which is the promise that god has made for us is that brief or ...
Apr 19, 2020The only racist against that flag are oromo nd islam, tigrway will never be against that flag we used it for centuries with our amharu orthodox brother nd i believe there is no difference between amahru and tigrway we are the same the only difference is our language even our language come from the geez so it's in some way the same,we are both orthodox we,out tradition are the same...... So hey guys please don't say the green yellow red flag doesn't belong to tigrway it belong to us too nd we are every bit as orthodox as the amharas, hey and the patriarchy is from tigray nd he approved the ethiopian flag as the chruch flag too.btw I'm tigrway
Apr 19, 2020So to crack this down for you....basically the curch and state were together till derg..so everything about the country is connected with the church...language...calander...writing system...music...most of the tourist places...and also the flag are basically churchs gift for the country. So the green yellow red colors of the flag is the main visible colors of the rainbow...rainbow is an upside arrow which a sign of mercy for the people which God gave for noah...the church adopted it for herself but the country also took it....still the church uses the flag for herself with the church sign embeded in the center....also the country uses it!!
Apr 19, 2020It is the churchs gin yaw our leaders befit were religious so they adopted from the church ...and the church represents the country more because rhe church is so ancient tht it mixed with the culture...relatively the other religions came recently
Apr 19, 2020Sorry bro i didn't mean to attack all oromos obivously I'm against the ones who try to divide the church like the one befire...nd please don't say orthodoxy was not given in oromo it was given in afaan oromo. all this political brain dead oromo activists say that to their herd so that they can take them away from our beloved church nd get them back to waqqeffena.orthodox doesn't discriminate against no one.....
